On Stanhope Street and Central Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, your studio is centered between three subway lines, all running to Manhattan, making the New York City commute a bit easier. Less than a 1/4 mile away is the closest subway station, Central Avenue serving the M line. You can find a bit further, within a 0.4 mile (400 meters) stroll, the J line at the Kosciuzko stop, connecting to Manhattan in just 4 stops! Finally, you have the option to take the L train at DeKalb Avenue, 4 blocks to the north. For local conveniences, there’s a grocery store just down the block and you can find plenty of amenities on Myrtle Avenue and Broadway, just one station or 0.7 mile (1.12 km) away with restaurants, pharmacies and other conveniences. The Maria Hernandez Park is about 6 blocks away, a large grassy square with a jogging path around the perimeter and basketball and handball courts in the middle. For a coffee date or study spot, try Little Skips, a popular cafe in the area; Goodbye Blue Monday, a bar about 5 blocks away, offers food and live entertainment most nights, and Tandem, a trendy bar near the park, has a fun dance floor and great brunches.

Excellent location, near two train lines (L and J) and very close to the M train. David, the landlord, has always been kind and very helpful. |

I had a terrific one year lease at Stanhope Street and Central Avenue. The apartment is quite spacious for a studio and was very clean and well furnished when I arrived. The landlord is very nice and was able to attend to any problems/questions I had promptly. The location of the apartment was my favorite aspect, as it is close to the M, J and L lines for easy access to Manhattan. I would definitely recommend this apartment to someone who works or spends a lot of time in Manhattan but is not able to afford Manhattan rent prices. |
