Enjoy your stay in this modernly decorated one bedroom apartment located on the 5th floor (4th for Europeans) of a low rise building in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. This area is surrounded by the vibrant NoLita, Little Italy and Bowery neighborhoods. The building has a common TV – reading room, gym where you can work out, laundry room and a 24 hour doorman.
You enter the apartment into the living room, furnished with a flat screen wall-mounted TV and a sofa that you can unfold to a queen size bed. Next to the living room is an open kitchen equipped with the basic appliances. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a built-in closet. Both living room and bedroom have two windows facing the south, offering views over nearby buildings from a 5th floor vantage point. The bathroom is located on the opposite side of the bedroom and has a bathtub with shower. There is an iron, ironing board, hair dryer and safe for your convenience.
This apartment is located just around the corner of the Sara D. Roosevelt Park on Rivington Street & Chrystie Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York. This area is well known for its many restaurants and shops. A lot of artists have their art galleries over here, as you will discover as soon as you walk out your door and down the street. You also have the New Museum of Contemporary Art located just around the corner.
The closest subway station, Bowery / Delancey Street, is only one block away and takes you with the J train further downtown or to east Brooklyn. Another option is to take the F train from the 2 Avenue / Houston Street : Lower East Side station which will take you to Uptown Manhattan, Queens and Downtown Brooklyn, making it easy to discover the rest of New York City.
