Have a look at this lovely two bedroom apartment in a fantastic Williamsburg location. The light pastel colors of the rooms keeps this ground floor apartment bright and makes it unique. Access to the apartment is via an entrance under the brownstone's stoop, giving an extra level of privacy.
This apartment's layout is almost as great as its neighborhood! The windows of the living room have southern exposure, facing the street, while both bedrooms look north, with a view of a backyard. When you enter the apartment you'll find yourself in the living room, with bright mint-colored walls and a panel of painted exposed brick for contrast. The combination of antique and vintage furnishings add to the charm of the space, and there is a single size bed in the alcove near the kitchen. The kitchen and bathroom are situated in the middle of the apartment; there is L-shaped countertop in the kitchen with bar stools offering plenty of counter space for prep work or casual meals. The bathroom has a rainfall shower and even a window for fresh air. In the back of the apartment, the master bedroom is accessible via French doors (covered with curtains), and has a four poster queen size bed and an armoire for storage. The second bedroom is smaller, with a double size bed and a portable rack for hanging your clothes.
You will find this apartment in the southern part of Brooklyn's Williamsburg area, around the intersection of South 3rd and Berry Streets. This area just blocks from the East River, with gorgeous Manhattan views in the evenings. To the east, you'll find the more commercial district, starting on Bedford Avenue a little over a block away. This thoroughfare is absolutely lined with restaurants, cafes and boutiques, from the casual to the higher-end. Grab a blue cheese burger at Dumonth Burger or oysters at Maison Premiere, both are within blocks of the apartment. For nightlife, you may want to walk down Kent Avenue, which has many live music venues and IndieScreen, a cinema that shows carefully chosen independent films -- one of the best parts about living in New York is the high exposure to the arts scene!
To get out of the neighborhood, the apartment is well situated between two major subway stations, and both will take you to Manhattan in just one stop! The Marcy Avenue station has an above-ground track that runs the J and M trains, offering nice views of the NYC skyline as you ride. If you walk north, you can pick up the L line at Bedford Avenue and North 7th Street, which runs along 14th Street in Manhattan, and will drop you off in Union Square in 3 stops.

The house was absolutely amazing. A peaceful corner close to the heart of New York. Williamsburg is the best neighborhood that one can find himself living in New York. The house is hospitable and perfectly equipped with everything you need. Extremely close to the best things to do/see in the big apple and enchanting. I really became attached to it. |

Just a general commment, kindly require that all apartment owners are very familiar with landlord tenant laws and the restrictions on entering an leased apartment. We found that the apartment upstairs was leased to many foreign exchange students at a high turnover rate, who seemed to neither know or care what the laws are. However, as a NYC family, it was important that our privacy and the apartment was treated within the guidelines of the law. |

The opinion of the client must be respected. I have nothing negative to say about Paige and her family. I am sorry she felt that way. They were wonderful. All I can say is that I respect the circle of life. |
