UPPER WEST SIDE GEM!
We spent a month at this Studio apartment and could not have been more pleased. First and foremost, the location is perfect: a block from Central Park, near shops, restaurants, groceries, etc. A real neighborhood vibe. Transportation by Subway or bus will take you anywhere. The building is not new-prewar but updated and very quiet. Ground floor, easy access. Comfortable Queen bed w/nice linens, lots of storage, good lighting. Nice TV and wifi, cold AC and hot shower. Two full-size couches to stretch out on. The full kitchen was great: gas stove, fridge w/freezer, dishwasher!, microwave, toaster oven, dishes & housewares. Tiled bath with tub/shower. Nice outdoor back yard-too hot to use much (but could use a bit of sprucing up). Owner readily accessible via email. If you want "new," stay at the Hilton. But if you want to feel like a real New Yorker, this might be the spot for you.
