Occupying the two top floors of a townhouse in vibrant Harlem, Manhattan, this apartment combines space, convenience and comfort. This is the perfect vacation rental if you're looking to explore New York City, offering an insight into one of the most diverse and exciting neighborhoods in NYC! This furnished two bedroom apartment is located on the second and third (first and second European) floors of a three story walk-up building on West 132nd Street & 7th Avenue in Manhattan.
You'll be stunned by how spacious this two bedroom accommodation is, with the lower floor containing a long, fully equipped kitchen and a dining room with views onto the leafy courtyard behind the building. Looking deeper, you'll find a dishwasher and a pantry storage space in the kitchen, stainless steel appliances, and even a water dispenser in the fridge. All of the furnishings are in a modern style.
Upstairs, you'll find the 110 sq ft (10 sq m) living room, with a sofa, DVD-equipped television, and a computer desk. Bedroom 1 is the same size as the living room and hosts a queen-sized (160 cm wide) bed and a mirrored closet, with its two windows facing the courtyard. The second bedroom is larger (150 sq ft/14 sq m) and has a bunkbed (90 cm wide) with space for more. This second bedroom also has a closet, as well as street-facing windows (132 St view). The two bathrooms are also on this floor, one of them equipped with a washer and dryer.
What makes this apartment special is the roof terrace, just up the stairs from the first bedroom, which has two armchairs and a table with four chairs for dining al fresco. Here, you can take in the sights and sounds of the city while relaxing with a book or sitting down to a nice meal.
Right outside your door are some of the richest cultural sites in New York:
The rest of the city is just minutes away with the 2/3 trains at 135 Street / Lenox Avenue Station, just 4 blocks/450 m away, and on the A/B/C at 135 Street / Saint Nicholas Avenue, only 6 blocks/750 m from your door. This is the perfect location whether you're a student or a tourist, with the A/B/C going to City College, Columbia University and New York University downtown, as well as the 2/3 trains going to Times Square with just a few stops in between.
