I thought my apartment was perfect for my stay. It had everything I needed and maintenance was easy to reach and very kind and quick to fix things. |

This was an excellent experience for me. The location was really great, being a one minute walk to a subway and very close to lots of nice parks. Anything else I might have needed (e.g. laundromat, groceries, food) was also very accessible. The neighborhood can feel a tad sketchy at times but generally felt pretty safe. My room was perfect. Everything was very clean and fairly up-to-date. It is relatively small, but was perfect for me alone on a 4-month stay. One comment is that my room was boiling (I was there during the winter). I had to buy a screen and keep my window open pretty much 24/7. Once I did that, it was pretty comfortable, but that was a bit of an inconvenience. I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned, though it is still within 60 days of my departure and during COVID-19, so I'm optimistic it will still be returned at some point. Overall, I was very satisfied and thought it was very worth it at the price. |

The best part of the apartment is the location. It is located 1 minute away form C and B subway lines and around 7 minutes from 1 line. Several grocery stores very close to the apartment, 2 Delies just downstairs, Whole Foods (6 minutes away), Trader Joe's (15 minutes away). Central Park is also 1 minute away. Many small restaurants in the area. |

Thank you for your review, the mattresses we ordered are pillow top semi firm mattresses as a consensus they are very durable and most people don't like too soft of a mattress it can sink in quickly, the walls are pretty much sheetrock based but we try to let the neighbors know to keep the noise down to minimum which is why your heard more at night. There is no elevator as the building is only 5 floors and not required, also it keeps the cost down for the renters as if we were to have one it would increase the rent substantially and within a price range of $2000 - $2500, just check other sites for yourself for a private bathroom /kitchen utilities included studio apartment. The air-conditioning information is stated on the lease, they are installed end of may, we post a notice that they will be installed by the entrance door when we install and take them out. The fourth floor wifi network had some issues and we took care of it after getting a tech out. |
