In New York, as you walk past the restaurants and shops of Little Italy, in SoHo, Manhattan, you may notice a brick building near Mulberry Street and Grand Street. The brick building is the home of this furnished studio apartment. There are laundry amenities in this elevator building.
Please note that the furnishings and decor (such as sofas, curtains, artwork, etc.) may vary from the photos displayed in the listing due to periodic updates and replacements.
You will be right at home in this furnished apartment. Mulberry Street is one of the main arteries of Little Italy, and the location of some of the oldest restaurants in the area. The atmosphere may inspire you to try your hand at cooking a few meals of your own. If that is the case, the fully equipped separate kitchen will come in handy. It has an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, and a coffeemaker. Once cooked, you can enjoy the meal at the dining table. Perhaps you already ate. In that case, you can enjoy some TV and stretch out on the sofa or the double sofa bed. You can unwind in the tub or spruce yourself up with a shower.
Please note: The ground floor of this building shares space with a restaurant which can be noisy at times.
Little Italy is a great location to experience food and culture, yes. It is also an almost ideally situated central hub. To the north you have the shopping hotspot, historical SoHo. To the south you have Chinatown. If you head 0.5 miles (around 805 meters) east, you can visit either the Tenement Museum or the Museum at Eldridge Street. If you pick the Tenement Museum, you can swing by Katz’s Delicatessen (an additional three blocks distant) for a sandwich. The restaurants close to the apartment mostly serve Mediterranean—including Italian—and Asian food. And if you want a taste of Asian culture as well as Asian food, you can step two blocks over to the Museum of Chinese in America. It is a 0.3-mile (around 483 meter) walk to Columbus Park.
To grab a ride on the subway, you can head over to Canal Street. At the Broadway station, you can catch the N, Q, R, and W trains. At the Lafayette Street station you can catch the 4 and 6. And at the Centre Street station you can hop on the J and Z trains.

Excellent location. The only major complaint with the apartment is the kitchen vent over the stovetop. It is pretty much useless. With the fan running, the smoke detectors go off at the slightest hint of smoke or steam. It is very annoying. That really needs to be addressed for the next tenant. Also, I recommend adding a shelf above the toilet to provide space for storing toiletries. |
