New York Apartment - 1 Bedroom Rental in Midtown West (NY-8017)

Great location, Wilson was very efficient, very comfortable bedroom but building in a poor state.

The apartment is well located as you can access many subway lines nearby, very convenient to go anywhere in Manhattan. Still, the neighborhood is very touristy with lots of people in the area. The building entrance is secure (2 doors to unlock) but not very clean as there is a lot of homeless in the area.
The apartment is exactly as shown on the photos, no surprise here, the building staff is quick to respond in case we have a problem. The apartment is functional and well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen (oven, microwave, hob, fridge, freezer). The apartment is quite bright there is a window in the bedroom and one in the sitting room, and one in the bathroom. The WiFi works well. As for storage space, there is a chest of drawers and a wardrobe in the bedroom, a small cupboard in the bathroom and several cupboards in the kitchen.
The apartment is clean yet you have to take precautions with regard to the roaches present in the building unfortunately (never in the bedroom or the bathroom). There is no laundry in the building but there is one a few minutes walk away.

Overall the apartment was exactly what I needed but I think the cleanliness could've definitely been improved. I was disappointed with the amount of roaches I dealt with on a daily basis but the staff were good about trying to provide extermination resources during my stay. Other than that, the apartment is in a great location right in the middle of manhattan and the noise wasn't too bad most days but on saturdays the bar nearby has music playing throughout the night. Would definitely recommend this place if you need a private oasis in the city!

Very convenient location.

I would say my contact with the owner has been solid. He's worked to resolve issues as they arise. Cable and internet have been a problem and remains a problem, but I've just lived with it. They have been easy to work with on other areas.

It was amazing staying at the NYhabitat apartment. Very convenient for walking around. The problem we faced is the unstability of the wi-fi. It is something that needs further consideration.
My wife and I we hope to be accommodated again in your apartments.

On the whole, the one-month rental went smoothly. One important point: during the very cold spell, it wasn't hot enough in the studio, an extra heating was needed.

Besides, upon checking-in in the studio on December 24, the janitor didn't want to hand the keys straight away because he had not received confirmation from the owner that the security deposit and the rent had been paid...

Great place to be in at a very cheap price. You are in Times Square, so I guess if you live here you have to expect the noise, however I never lost sleep or felt annoyed by the extremely loud noise.

Landlord was very responsive and I never ran into any major issue. For small things (like a malfunctioning internet connection) the landlord was able to solve the situation within 24 hours.

Highly recommend.

I spent almost 8 months in one of your apartments on West 40th Street and it was a really good experience.

The apartment was in great condition (cleaning, furniture) and all the repairs that I needed, they made in the same day.

My evaluation is great, I really appreciate the time I spent in this Midtown West apartment and I really recommend it.
