This apartment was great for a summer in the city. It's a short walk from the subway, which provides easy access to many neighborhoods. Woodside itself is pretty quiet but has a few restaurants and is in walking distance to Astoria restaurants and bars. |

This was a beautiful space that is perfect for one person but is not enough space for two. The location of the apartment is wonderful and close to the subway and many great places for delivery and take out. The plumbing, heating, and cooling could be improved as the heat did not work during the winter time and the water pressure was weak and the water temp was cold to lukewarm year round. The price for value is great with all utilities included but the pest control issues with rats and ants made our stay stressful. |

Thank you for your feedback on your stay in my apartment and for addressing some of the issues that presented themselves during the time you were there. I understand that it was a bit challenging to fit two people into the apartment comfortably, and typically the apartment is rented to one person so that it is a more comfortable living space. I will do my best to continue renting to one person moving forward. The building is a bit old, however everything in the apartment is in working condition and I have redone the space since you have left. I have also made an effort to ensure the plumbing has been fixed. As far as the pest control issues, this is the first time in over twenty years of renting this apartment that we have had this issue. While I apologize for the inconvenience, we have done everything in our power to correct the situation. We have disassembled all the heater covers, put steel wool in every possible hole and crevices, we had the apartment totally repainted, the bathtub reglazed, the bed repaired, and updated all of the kitchen appliances in an effort to make sure that this does not happen again. |

New York Habitat have been kept informed of all of the renovations in this apartment. We have been sent photographs of most of the furniture being disassembled to be able to reach the holes in the walls and cabinets to avoid the invasion of pests. We have seen the before and after photos of the intensive work that has gone in to renovating this apartment. It looks the same in the video, but if you stay in the apartment and look deeper, you will see the difference of a deep cleaning of a hotel condition property. |
