The bathroom on that floor is shared with the 3rd bedroom, occupied by the owner of this apartment.

Decorated with antique accessories, the space offers valuable prewar qualities: a stately fully functional fireplace, high ceilings, and exposed brick walls. Bay windows in the shared living room light up the space with midday sun, and vintage accessories (think: traditional area rugs, antique furniture, bohemian wall art) lend the home a warm and inviting ambiance. A television with DVD player is provided. From the living room, tenants can access the dining room (living room 2), which is equipped with a glass table for up to eight guests. A doorway here leads to the kitchen, fully stocked with essential cooking appliances and a dishwasher for added convenience.

This is truly a home away from home. The owner is a wonderful person who loves to share her vast knowledge of NYC and of Brooklyn in particular and makes you feel very welcome in her lovely house. We stayed at the room on the top floor with our own bathroom, which was very nice. One of the highlights was the terrace in the back, where we had breakfast or a coffee in the afternoon. The house is situated on a quiet little dead-end street, but very close to a subway station and two bus stopps and shopping and restaurants are just a short walk away. We would definitely stay there again. |

I enjoyed my stay in this apartment. The landlady was very nice. She gave us some advice about where to go, it really felt like home. We would come back there if we ever came back to New York. |
