These furnished rooms for rent are in a three-bedroom/two-bathroom apartment located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York. The apartment is on the 9th floor of a 16 story highrise building. The building features an elevator and a full time doorman.
The first room for rent (Bedroom 1 on the floorplan) features hardwood floors and wireless Internet. It is furnished with a single-sized bed and a small table, allowing you to work at home. There is also a mini-refrigerator with a small freezer in the room. Air conditioning is available at an additional fee. You will share the bathroom with the owner, and have light access to the kitchen.
The second room for rent (Bedroom 2) has a private bathroom. It also features hardwood floors and wireless Internet. It is furnished with a double-sized bed and a small table that can be used as a desk. The renter of this room will have light access to the kitchen which is shared with the other renter and the owner.
Bedroom 1 also has a window with northern exposure, looking upon the street, and another with eastern exposure that overlooks the backyard. Bedroom 2 has a window with western exposure.
101st Street is a residential area on the Upper West Side of New York City. Riverside Park, a four mile strip bordering the Hudson River, is just three blocks west of this room for rent and has a biking and walking paths amongst the greenery. The famous Central Park can be found 3 street to the east. Broadway is just around the corner from these furnished accomodations and offers restaurants, supermarkets, delis, bars and boutiques.
The nearest train stop is the 1 train located two blocks away on 103rd Street. The 2/3 express trains are also located nearby on 96th Street (4 blocks away) and provide quick access to Manhattan and connect you to the rest of New York City.

I really enjoyed my stay in this apartment. Everything is perfect: bright, spacious and fully furnished, my room is one of the best I've ever had! The landlady thought about everything and even included a microwave and a fridge (which may come in handy if you are a student like me and don't have a lot of time to cook a proper meal!). |
