The apartment is just beside the Eiffel Tower, which is settled in the splendid Champ de Mars with its beautiful floral gardens, it is also a few steps away from the Seine River. On the opposite side, across the Seine River there is the Trocadero Place. In this area you will find the Palais de Chaillot built for the International Exhibition in 1937 which houses the Cinema Museum. Nearby you will also find the Marine Museum, and the Humain Being Museum, as well as an esplanade offering the most impressive view of the Eiffel Tower. All sorts of fashion, conveniences and other shops, selected restaurants and cafes, are found in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 50m² two-bedroom apartment is situated on the fourth floor (fifth for US) of a 20th century walk-up building. A coded security system and a concierge protect the main entrance gate.
Layout:
The entrance door opens onto a hall, which leads on the right to the bathroom, the kitchen and a bedroom. It leads on the left to the living room. The master bedroom is accessible thru the living room. The 15m² living room has a window overlooking the street. It is furnished with a sofa, a dining table with its chairs, a cable TV and a DVD player, two antique style armchairs and a built-in shelves. There is a high speed Internet access.
The separate kitchen has a window, which overlooks the courtyard. It is equipped with four vitro-ceramic burners, a refridgerator with a freezer, a washing machine (combo washer/dryer), an oven and a microwave oven.
The 10m² master bedroom has a window opening onto the street that offers a view of the Eiffel Tower. It is furnished with a double size bed, a computer desk and a built-in closet with sliding mirror doors.
The 8m² bedroom has a window overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a chest of drawers, a decorative fireplace and a bookshelf,
The tiled bathroom has a tub with a shower, a washbasin and a toilet.
Both the heating and hot water systems use electricity and are individually metered.
The closest subway stations are Ecole Militaire (line 8) and Pont de l'Alma (RER C)

It was an amazing experience! The location was amazing and it wasn't too loud or anything, which I know a lot of people are concerned about. The guardian and the landlord were great! One thing, there's not too much nightlife or restaurants that are open late. It's a little bit more expensive area too but everything else was great. |
