The apartment is in a great location with restaurants, food markets, and two train stations (RER B, Metro) within a ten minutes walk of the apartment. Also, Jardin de Luxembourg is within fifteen minute of the apartment. All the other famous sites are just a short train ride away (Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, louvre museum). One small drawback, if you could call it that, is that there are two hospitals and a fire station located on the main street, so some times it could be very noisy. During our stay there was major construction going on around our build, which made it very unpleasant to be in. The construction would start at 8am and go until 4pm. During parts of the day the construction got so bad that the whole apartment would shack, like we were going through an earthquake. Nothing was mention in the lease that there was going to be construction, and the sing that we saw in the building said it was going to last until March 2012. However, the land lord was nice enough to come up with a new agreement to our stay which made us feel a little better. I meet that land lord several times, and he is a very nice man. |

There were indeed construction works in the area that we were not aware of and we do apologize for the inconvenience. The owner confirmed today that the works are now completed. |
