Immerse yourself in the real Parisian life, steps away from a hidden gem than few tourists know: the Canal Saint Martin! This vacation rental located at Rue des Vinaigriers and Rue Lucien Sampaix puts you only a few steps away from the canal and will give you a chance to discover how Parisians like to spend their free time in the 10th arrondissement. The studio is located on the 2nd floor (3rd for Americans) of a 5 story walk-up building and is fully furnished, ready for your visit!
Two floor to ceiling western exposed windows allow for plenty of light to brighten the living area, which is nicely decorated with contemporary furnishings. Here you will find one double pull-out bed and one double sofa-bed for extra sleeping accommodation. A glass dining table and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV add a modern touch to the place. The TV is equipped with cable, and WiFi internet is also available. You will appreciate having the kitchen separated from your sleeping space. It come fully equipped with all the necessities, and even has the convenience of a washing machine. The bathroom has a shower and a mirrored medicine cabinet.
This vacation rental will give you the chance to see the Canal Saint Martin everyday, a favorite spot for locals to picnic, stroll, go for a run or shop at the numerous boutiques along the canal! Little-known to tourists, you will find many more things to do in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, including:
- Quays of the canal: walk a few steps east to Quai de Valmy or across the canal to Quai de Jemmapes and you will find many restaurants, cafés or boutiques to choose from! Enjoy some typical French cuisine at Chez Prune 270 m away (0.2 miles) and check out Antoine et Lili, a quirky fashion boutique only 200 meters away (0.1 mile).
- Place de la République (650 m /.4 miles) : more than a major transit hub, this place is also one of the busiest squares in Paris, surrounded by many cafés and restaurants, and housing the Statue of the Republic.
- New Morning: if you are a Jazz fan, check out this famous Paris jazz club located 850 m (0.5 miles) from the studio.
Many other famous Paris attractions are only a few subway stops away! The M5 at the Jacques Bonsergent station will take you to République transit hub in only one stop. From there you will be 4 stops away from the heart of the city! Take the M5 in the other direction to Gare De L’Est or Gare du Nord (one and 2 stops respectively), which offer high speed train services to other cities in France as well as international destinations.
