Excellent location, a 5-minute walk from Notre Dame, St Michel, Latin Quarter, a 100 m from subway, facilities, supermarket and wonderful restaurants with different international cuisine a few meters away, helpful and very friendly host, studio apartment is small but very functional and nicely decorated (sometimes a bit dark but very cool, ideal in the summertime).

Ideal especially for 1 or 2 people. To me, the value for money seems excellent for central Paris.

Thank you for your comments Giuseppe, it was a pleasure to host you in Paris. The studio is dark indeed, in spite of a very large window overlooking the courtyard, it's normal for an apartment on the ground floor on an inner courtyard.

On the other hand, this location on an inner courtyard makes the studio quiet.

I hope that next time you come it will be as peaceful as it usually is.

Kind regards,
D

Great apartment, the location is perfect. The bathroom is attached and was not as small as I was expecting. Owner was very helpful about meeting up and giving directions on place to go.

There is free wifi but we had to stand just outside our apartment door in the courtyard to use it. Would highly recommend this place, very safe area as well.

It was a pleasure to host Audrey and her relatives. Everything went smoothly on my side and I am delighted to hear everything was OK for them, too.

Indeed, the wifi connection is free but it is sometimes awkward, ideally the window needs to be open or else you need to go out a few meters into the courtyard.

Depending on the weather conditions and the devices that are being used (phone, tablet etc) it can also work fine indoors. It's unpredictable, but the connection works 24/7.

We loved the accommodation, perfect location, couldn't be more convenient to get around and explore Paris. You can even hear the Notre Dame bells ringing in the background, without it being too bothersome.

The owner was very accessible and friendly, both our arrival and departure went smoothly, couldn't have gone better.

The only improvement would be a kitchen sink, but we already knew that prior to our arrival; I guess that would increase the currently affordable price.

All this contributed to making out trip to Paris so perfect that we're already hoping to go back.

Thank you Ana. Since I am myself a cooking enthusiast, I am aware of the need of a sink for cooking. But as the studio is located in one of the neighborhoods with the greatest number of restaurants and brasseries in Paris, the kitchen corner is there to prepare breakfast and snacks (fridge, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, microwave) but not really suited to people who want to prepare real meals.

A "real" kitchen entails that a sink be installed as well as a hood with a powerful ventilation system (since it is a studio apartment, you sleep in the same room) and unfortunately, all this turns out to be more complicated than it appears.

So for the flat, the district is very nice and the owners are lovely people. The only thing is that it is wet because it is in a courtyard and there is no sun coming and that it was not easy to cook but the owner bought for me a micro one so it was better as for me it s important to be able to cook properly..but for tourists it s okay for me, it s different as I always stay 2 weekends I dont feel like eating in restaurants every day..

Many thanks.

Yes, this is a ground floor apartment, looking over the yard, so there is no direct sunlight, but the high ceilings and the bid window make up a bit for the lack of light; it's not really a "shut" apartment....

This guest (very friendly) needed to cook because she had problems with the food from restaurants. Indeed, given the number and variety of restaurants you can find in the neighborhood, people don't usually cook much when they are staying at the apartment. That's why the studio is equipped with the basics, but sufficiently for breakfasts etc.

The microwave I bought for this guest is still there and usable. So, now the following equipment is provided in the kitchen corner: microwave, fridge, coffee machine, toaster and basic utensils.

The only drawback to the place is that it is very damp so the mattress and our clothes were often a bit damp. As a result of the moisture, the place could smell a bit stuffy and we were wondering if mould could grow easily.

The owners contacted us to confirm that they are aware of the potential dampness issue and confirmed it can be avoided by following the advice they give their guest. They will ensure all guests receive the needed information.

We had a lovely time and the flat was what we expected. The only thing was that we had been told that there was a phone that took incoming calls only, but when we got there it did not work.

We would certainly stay in this Paris vacation rental again. All instructions given were very clear and precise. The owner was particularly helpful.

We stayed in the apartment in St Michel in Paris. The location was absolutely perfect, it was very comfortable and quiet and we loved it.

The owner lived next door and he was very helpful. The bathroom was very small but functional and it was great having a fridge.

I have recommended this apartment to my friends.

I really enjoyed my stay in Paris at the studio. [The owners] made the place comfortable and it was clean when I arrived. The coffee maker didn't work but I just took that as a sign to go out and experience
the wonderful cafes all around me. The location is close to everything I wanted to see and do.

Thank you so much,

We were both very satisfied with the apartment and with the attention of the landlord. The location was ideal. It was a pleasure awakening to the bells of Notre Dame and the views were beautiful.

Shopping and dining in the area were very good. The size and condition of the apartment were excellent, and the various appliances and accessories were in proper working order.

Our only quibble was with the early morning noises of workmen who were tuckpointing the building. But this ended as we left.
We look forward to future rentals of this apartment.

I was particularly impressed with the speed and ease in which the whole transaction was settled (from start to finish).

The apartment was at a very good price (as seemed other apartments on the website which I considered).

Only one point - in concern of the room. I was very pleased over all with the room, however, it would have been helpful in advance to know that the bathroom was separate: ie. I had to come out of my apartment, locking the door and unlock the adjoining bathroom each time I wanted to use it. Not a huge inconvenience, but it would have been nice to know in advance.

The apartment we stayed in was perfectly fine. My only complaint was that I was not aware that the bathroom was not on the premises, but rather in the courtyard, which made showering in the winter a very "refreshing" experience. Also, the room could have used a more powerful space heater as the apartment, though small, was not very warm.

The location, however, was really great and the owners very nice and easy going.

I think that as long as you prepare potential renters of these things, which is not immediately apparent from the website, it is a perfectly pleasant apartment to stay in.

The apartment was fine, if a little gloomy, but well located and decent value. Rather a weird arrangement with the loo and shower. The accommodation owner in Paris was very friendly.

I think I would use your service again, should the need arise. Many thanks

I was happy with the apartment in Paris. It was in an excellent location. The vacation rental was on the ground floor, so no steps to climb. The owner was friendly and helpful.

The shower setup in the bathroom was unlike any I had seen in North America, but it was fine when we got used to it. The bathroom looked very new, which was nice.

The apartment met my expectations as per the pictures and description.

Our landlord in Paris was very accommodating in this apartment. He made time to meet us before our departure on short notice. The studio was comfortable for 3 adults.

Being on the ground floor only had minor issues with noise. Particularly every morning around 7am when someone would drag the trash bin back to the area by our door. It was very loud on cobble stone.

The apartment location was perfect with a view of Notre Dame when you walked outside. They were plenty of affordable places to eat all around and bakeries to grab breakfast every morning.
