Choose to stay in Beaubourg, Paris, to experience Paris à la mode. This furnished studio resides in the 3rd arrondissement, next to the Centre Pompidou (270m/.17mi), one of the largest modern art museums in the world. But don’t be fooled; Beaubourg like its neighbor, Le Marais, is rich in history, and curious travelers can still stumble upon the hidden traditional treasures of Beaubourg. This studio, for example, can be found on the 4th (5th American equivalent) and final floor of a building that was built in 1610. Full of character, this studio is bound to charm you with its antique appeal while you’re staying in Beaubourg.
Follow the spiraling wooden staircase up to the open terrace and into this abode. Wooden floors, furniture, and exposed beams fill this apartment with rustic charisma. A decorative fireplace and patterned rugs pad the floor and make it feel like home.
Around the corner from this old-world apartment, you’ll find new-world transportation. Chatelet (350m/.22mi), known as the “Hub of Paris”, is home to nearly all metro lines and trains making it the largest hub in Paris. Other nearby stops are Étienne Marcel (280m/.17mi [line4]) and Hôtel de Ville (850m/.53mi [lines 1 and 11]).
Rue Tiquetonne (450m/.28mi) is bountiful with boutiques to keep your style up to date and Les Halles (650m/.4mi), which was once an energetic food market, is now an underground shopping center below a glass ceiling. But when you’re looking to satisfy your sense of nostalgia, Rue Montorgueil (550m/.34mi) continues to hold true to traditional Paris and hosts a variety of French fine dining, brasseries, and cafes.
Though this area is transcending into a young and hip arrondissement, many traditional Parisian characteristics have managed to survive the restoration and continue to bring the old world into the new.

The apartment was wonderful. The owner made sure we had everything we needed and was very accommodating. The apartment is in a very convenient location, and the building is charming. It was nice to be able to cook a few meals in the small kitchen and wash some dirty clothes in the washing machine. It felt like a home away from home and made me wish I had stayed in Paris longer! |

The apartment in Paris was wonderful. The accommodation owner was welcoming and had it clean and ready for us when we arrived. The location worked out very well. It was so close to all metro lines and walking distance to many great neighborhoods. If I decided to go back to Paris, I would stay there again. |

The apartment was great. [The owner] was there to meet us. She was very welcoming...beer and water in the refrigerator and a loaf of French bread awaiting us! |

Our recent stay in Paris was made even better by the great service we received [...] and the wonderful Paris apartment. The apartment was centrally located in a wonderful area. The apartment owner was absolutely wonderful. We would definitely stay in this apartment again and go through New York Habitat! |
