Spend your vacation living the good life in this one-bedroom beachfront apartment in Cannes, South of France in the French Riviera! Facing the Mediterranean Sea and the Lérins Islands, this elegant home includes a private terrace looking out to the palm tree-lined sandy shore.
The furnished one-bedroom apartment on Boulevard Jean Hibert is located on the 1st French floor (2nd in U.S.) of a postwar walk-up building. For your convenience, a personal laundry washing machine is provided in the bathroom.
The dreamy apartment features white-tiled floors and contemporary amenities. The living room provides access to a furnished terrace decorated with patio tables and chairs. Large glass sliding doors allow maximum sunlight to saturate the house.
In the living room, a wall of full-length mirrors lends the bright home a modern feel. One full-sized sofa bed and a round dining table are included.
An open kitchenette supplies some essential cooking appliances, including a fridge, freezer, coffeemaker, and toaster. A dishwasher allows additional convenience! The bathroom supplies a shower and laundry washing machine. A window provides ventilation.
The stark white bedroom embraces a fresh and modern ambiance. It includes a full-sized bed and television with DVD player. Contemporary art decorates the walls, and a window views the sea.
This breathtaking one bedroom home is ideally located in the Western part of Cannes, down the famous and historic district of Le Suquet, near the harbor. The beach is just across the street on Boulevard du Midi, and there are restaurants and cafes all around! From here, you can walk to La Croisette and Le Palais des Festivals. If you see a celebrity, don’t be surprised! Cannes hosts an international film festival every May, and the town regularly welcomes stars from around the world into their luxury hotels. The area is also a great place to shop – Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Hermes are just a few upscale brands presented on La Croisette.
The regional center and seat of the department, Nice, is approx 30km/19mi to the east. Here, the Cannes train station is served by the high-speed TGV (the "Train Grande Vitesse," only five hours to Paris), and its international airport (Nice-Côte d’Azur) has daily flights from New York. Otherwise most international flight connections are made through Paris. With a car, you can range far and wide on day trips alone: Italy and Aix en Provence are just some potential nearby destinations!
