Take advantage of the Mediterranean sun with this three bedroom vacation rental on the French Riviera in the South of France. The fully furnished accommodation is located in the old town of Nice on the 3rd European floor (considered 4th floor in the U.S.) of a former palace with a sea front view. It has an elevator, intercom security system and a washing machine in the unit for your convenience. There is parking available in a nearby parking lot.

This vacation rental offers an eclectic décor, with herringbone hardwood floors and large windows to let natural light into the living room. A large sectional sofa, dining table, decorative fireplace, desk area and a TV give you space to relax and make your own. The separate kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to cook at home such as a fridge, oven and dishwasher.

The bedroom one has a queen size bed with bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a window opening onto the roofs of the Vieille Ville. The first bathroom has a shower and a tub and a separate toilet. The second bedroom and the third bedroom each have full sized beds (one of which is a convertible sofa), a closet and windows with a sea view.

Nice contains a treasure trove of Baroque art from the 17th and 18th centuries. There are many churches among the narrow streets of this fascinating and timeless district of Nice as well as plenty of restaurants, markets and museums:

• Enjoy a meal out at La Volgia (300 meters/0.18 miles), a nearby restaurant famous for their mousse au chocolat.
• Do your shopping like a local at the Marché aux Fleurs (180 meters/0.1 miles), an outdoor market with fresh flowers and traditional Provençal food.
• For some culture, check out Musée Marc Chagall (3.2 kilometers/1.9 miles) featuring the iconic work of the Russian-French artist.
• You’ll love being this close to the waters of the Baie des Anges, famous for its gently curved beach, and the Promenade des Anglais (200ft/50m) that runs parallel to the sea.

For public transport, the tram station of Opera-Vieille Ville is only 450 meters/0.2 miles away. The Nice train station (2.8 kilometers/1.7 miles) is served by the high-speed TGV (only five hours from Paris) and regional trains. The international airport (Nice-Côte d’Azur), is a 15 minute drive from the apartment (5.6mi/9.2km). Italy is only 20-30 minutes away (21mi/33.8km) and Monaco is ever closer!
