My friend and I stayed in the flat for 5 nights. It was really comfortable and provided us with plenty of space. We each had our own bathroom and bedroom. The flat was super convenient to transportation, grocery shopping and other shopping in a very walkable neighborhood . We chose the flat because of the amenities and proximity to Kensington. The checkin/check out process was easy. We dropped off our bags at 11am and returned at 2:45pm to a clean flat. The dining / lounge area was beautiful. Even though it's a basement flat, there was enough light in the morning. I do have a couple of comments about the property which would enhance the stay of future renters. 1. Bathrooms -- the lighting was quite dim in both bathrooms which made it difficult to even see oneself in the mirror. The shower itself ( in the tub) needs work as the floor got soaked each time we took our respective showers in our respective bathroom. The protective glass only extended half way along the side of the tub and that piece of glass moved so no matter what, the water would leak through to the floor. Also, there was no plug in the bathroom to use the blowdryer and we each had to find a different spot to dry our hair. Minor issues, but those small fixes would make the bathrooms nicer. 2. paper goods - please provide napkins and more toilet paper. Had we been in the flat one more night, we would have to buy toilet paper. 3. Kitchen supplies - both the tea and coffee made available were stale. There was a lump of dried out coffee in a a can of Illy. 4. Coffee pot - just a nespresso machine. Perhaps a drip coffee pot or a keurig. We could not make morning coffee. I really hate to sound negative because it was really was a special place. |

The apartment was very nice - roomy and well -lit. The furniture and beds were all comfortable. There is no air conditioning, so it was a little warm. |
