New York Apartment - Studio in Upper West Side (NY-14814)

Couldn't ask for a better landlord and apartment. This is a genuine review. I needed something short-term that was safe, convenient and furnished and in Manhattan. This apartment checked all the boxes. Really convenient transportation -- right next to the express train; downtown in 15 - 20 minutes. Landlord was very friendly and professional. Check-in, check-out, deposit, etc was handled very smoothly and efficiently.

The apt is amazing. It is very cozy in a beautiful townhouse and very spacious. The location is very close to very nice parks as Riverside and Central Park and very close to the subway.

I lived here from September 2020 to May 2021 and it was my first apartment in NYC. The location is great. The space inside makes good use of what's there, but I would say if you're tall seriously ask yourself if you want to have to hunch over in half of the apartment. The loft is just over 5 ft, and it was fine at first but ended up becoming increasingly taxing. The property manager Valerie is literally the best thing about the apartment. She made sure we were provided for when our fridge stopped working soon after moving in, and that was just one of the things she helped us with. I've never had better, and I'll probably be hard-pressed to have a property manager as good in the future.

Valerie is the most lovely landlady one could hope for and was always there when I needed something which was rarely the case because the apartment had everything I needed. It was basically like a hotel room with a fully equipped kitchen.
Only if you are allergic to dogs you might want to look for something else.

The location of the apartment is really nice and quiet.
The apartment is very comfortable and it has everything you need.
It is in very good conditions.

The highlight of this apartment is the owner: she is really fantastic. A very nice lady, very welcome and always ready to help. We communicated through email and she was always attentive and helping. However the apartament itself needs remodeling: it's very old, dark and dirty. You can never have it cleaned because the floor and wall coverings are damaged, full of little holes, impossible to clean completely. The air conditioner stays at the street floor, so the mezanine, where the bed is, is always hot: I had to sleep in the coach, which was terribly uncomfortable. In my opinion if the owner could improve the apartment conditions it would be great!

The landlord was extremely helpful and kind with me. She and her husband made me feel at home with their nice hospitality... I was really lucky to meet them.
The location of the apartment is perfect, I loved this area very calm and also not too far from the subway, the restaurants and the supermarkets. Central Park is at 10 minutes walk. Very good connection for Internet and it was offered by the landlord.

Very close to Riverside Park, a few blocks away from Central Park, the area is perfect and so is the apartment. Valerie, the landlady, is very kind and helpful.

I lived here for 6 months and loved the place. I always felt safe and the building is very quiet. The apartment is cute and cozy and is conveniently on the first floor. There are shops open 24 hours only a couple of blocks away and the neighborhood is full of great diners and deli's. The Owner was very helpful and was promptly there for both drop off and pick up of the keys. She maintains great communication and was quick to return my deposit once I left. I happily recommend this place and will remember my time here fondly.
