Imagine yourself in this cozy studio apartment is located in the Bushwick part of Brooklyn, New York near Chauncey Street and Bushwick Avenue. Conveniently located on the ground floor of this four-story townhouse, you will only have a few steps to climb before being home.
This studio apartment has blond hardwood floors and white walls to enhance the sense of space. Painted tin ceilings add some original New York charm to the room. You also have a double doored cabinet in the corner for storing extra belongings. There are double windows available in this area to pour in the morning sunshine and provide you with plenty of fresh air. An air conditioning unit will be provided in the warmer months.
The open kitchen is equipped with the essentials: a full refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffeemaker and a toaster. There are multiple cabinets around the sink to store your items in and a few steps away is a cute dining room table that seats up two, and can expand or contract depending on how elaborate the meal!
The bathroom has grayish tiled walls and both a shower and a bathtub. There is a mirror located above the pedestal sink.
Outside of the studio apartment are plenty of markets and delis for you to choose from. Along Bushwick going towards Jamaica Avenue is Highland Park, where you can take a stroll and relax outside with your friends. You can benefit from the calm of a fairly residential neighborhood, but you also have plenty of opportunity for action with two subway stations nearby! The apartment is situated between two L line stations, one at Bushwick Avenue and Aberdeen Street and one at Wilson Avenue, depending if you are heading deeper into Brooklyn or to Williamsburg or Manhattan. If you take the L to the Morgan stop (5 stops), you will find yourself deep in the art scene, with many galleries and lofts, as well as a variety of trendy bars (try The Narrows on Flushing Avenue) and restaurants (Roberta's pizza has made the New York Times!). You can also take the J and Z trains Chauncey Street and Broadway, less than two blocks away, which will take you to lower Manhattan in just 9 stops -- two train stations allows you the flexibility to reach different parts of New York City without transferring as much!

Enjoyed my stay. It's what I expected and I got the Brooklyn experiences I wanted. Close to train, stores, and more. Friendly neighbors. I felt at home. |

Small apartment but is enough if you don't need much. Safe and secure but neighborhood is loud at times. But hey it's Brooklyn, not the Hamptons. |

Nicholas Pugliese was an excellent agent for me, and I had a great experience working with him on this apartment lease. From the beginning, when I actually was working on a military base in Afghanistan (before relocating to New York), he provided detailed information that one would expect from a rental agent. Not being able to physically be present during the leasing process of paperwork, the professional and sincere manner in which he handled the business transactions brought ease and peace of mind. Furthermore, he went above and beyond what was expected of his actual duties towards the end of the lease. I was very grateful for this. I could not be more pleased with the work ethic of Nicholas Pugliese. If I ever rent through New York Habitat in the future, I would want to request his services or someone with the same level of professionalism. |

The apartment was very good and very clean. The manager was very helpful. When there was a problem with the apartment he came by right away. I was very pleased with the apartment. |

Thank you Sofia. About the location, it's an upcoming neighborhood still needs more attractions but is close to Williamsburg. Second, about the noise is a first floor a lot of people walk by but the building has a key lock gate so no-one bother the guest on the first floor |
