Enjoy the historical charm of the colorful brownstones from the turn of the century that line Hancock Street in Bushwick, in the northern part of Brooklyn! This furnished studio is located on the 2nd floor (considered 1st by Europeans) of one of these brownstones and features three curve bay windows overlooking the street and allowing for plenty of light to brighten the apartment!
Please note that due to its lively neighborhood, the apartment can be noisy.
Lined with hardwood floors and decorated in neutral tones, the studio has all the essentials: a queen sized bed, a closet and dresser to store your belongings and all the basic necessities to cook at home, including an oven and microwave. For your entertainment there is also a TV with cable, and wireless internet is available. Another great plus is the air conditioning, that you will appreciate during the hottest months of the year!
Attracting more and more students and artists because of its close location with the hip Williamsburg, the area surrounding this apartment rental remains mainly residential, with a strong sense of community. The area around Hancock Street and Knickerbocker Avenue is also very functional. The main thoroughfares of Knickerbocker, Wilson and central avenues provide all kind of services, from laundromats, supermarkets and 99 cents stores to barbershops, music stores and more! Occupying a full block, Irving Square Park is only one street east and offers a relaxing green area where you can rest after a day at work or school. Walk down Wilson Avenue and turn left on Bleecker Street (0.7 mile / 1.2 km) to admire the beautiful architecture of St. Barbara's Church.
To explore other parts of Brooklyn or New York further, walk up to the Halsey Street / Wyckoff Avenue subway station and take the L train. It runs to Manhattan through the trendy Williamsburg, East Village and Union Square. You can also take the M line at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues to go from Midtown Manhattan all the way to Queens.

Ower all I liked the apartment. The size is good and the atmosphere of it is nice.In general I liked the neighborhood and its only two blocks from the L train. But it can be loud when people are playing music late at night. The owner was nice and helpful |

We stayed in the apartment for a period of 7 months. During the night, you hear neighbours being roudy, but nothing too drastic. All in all, the apartment was very great. The pricing was fantastic for us, & the owner of the property helped us when we needed some assistance. Highly recommend. |

Owner always available if needed. The furniture and the apartment itself are very good. Only downside is the soundproofing. |
