I absolutely loved my stay in this apartment, and had a great time. It was in a great location, clean, nice and had everything I needed for a short stay. That said, I did have a number of problems while living in the apartment:
- Several sightings of mice, which is a bit unnerving
- There was a leak in the bathroom, which meant that for a while rusty water kept leaking all over the sink. There was a hige collection of water in the ceiling, which somebody came to burst but then didnt fix so I had to deal with leaks coming through when people above had a shower (this did then get resolved)
- The toilet didnt flush properly
- The wifi kept going down and I had 4 days across the month with no internet access (which made life difficult when working)

I was impressed with how quickly people got back to me about problems and how quickly they were resolved, just a bit annoying to have to keep reporting so many problems back during a short stay.

Hello Emma,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review
We really sorry about the mice, that was the first time something like that happened. it came from the apartment next door and now after we blocked the gap between the main door to the floor this issue is solved and will never happen again. as you already mentioned we keep the apartment very clean, cleaning is very important to us!
As for the leak, unfortunately we couldn't control / avoid it. one of the pipes upstairs had a leak and thats why water came out of your celling. we had to wait until the pipe got fixed and then wait for the celling to dry off. I'm sorry that you had to go through it, we really did our best to fix it as soon as we could
During your stay Time Warner (the cable and internet provider) had an outage at the entire area, the issue has been already solved (I believe you noticed it close to the end of your stay).
Regarding the noise, I see that you rated it as 2/5. I personally never had any complaint about a noise in this apartment. and I'm not sure it it was the "typical NYC noise" or something else because you never mentioned it during your stay. We didn't know about the issue you had with the toilet. anyway, we already fixed.
Once again, thank you for staying in our apartment, we will be happy to host you again in the future
