This apartment at 33rd Street and Broadway in Queens’ popular Astoria neighborhood offers excellent accessibility to Manhattan coupled with a diverse and interesting neighborhood that has lots of great shopping and dining options. It is located on the first floor (considered the ground floor by Europeans) and with over 600 square feet of space (approx. 56 sqm), and the building offers a full security system and several different entrances.
You are met with hardwood floors when you enter the apartment, and there are three full closets available for your convenience. The living room has two windows filtering natural light and a nice selection of furniture, with a futon chair, ottoman, and futon couch that can extend into a double bed all available. An entertainment center with a TV completes the area, the perfect place to unwind after another busy day in NYC.
You’ll love the attention to detail that went into the charming yellow bedroom. Here you’ll find a queen size bed, a dresser and night table. The ceramic bathroom is just off the main living area and includes a full tub with shower. Complimentary wireless internet access is available throughout the building. If you like to cook, everything you need is in the kitchen, including an impressive selection of appliances. It also has a large window and a table with four chairs for dining.
As a result of its convenient location and great apartments, Astoria is quickly becoming one of New York City’s most popular residential neighborhoods. As your apartment is located a short distance from Broadway, one of the area’s bustling commercial strips, you’re close to everything you need, including a Laundromat less than a block away. You also will have a good selection of grocery stores to choose from. C-Town is closest and good for essentials, and Trade Fair a few blocks further on Broadway has a broad selection of produce, meat, and an amazing variety of harder to find ingredients. A great place to go for a walk is the Socrates Sculpture Garden along the waterfront, and you’ll definitely want to check out the galleries and museums of neighboring Long Island City.
Best of all, you are blocks away from a variety of transit options. The N and Q stops at 36th Avenue and 31st Street, and Broadway and 31st Street are both good options for quick service to Midtown Manhattan and beyond. You are also a short distance from the M and R trains at Steinway Street and 34th Avenue, which make stops in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.

I truly enjoyed my time in my apartment. My neighbors in the building were courteous, quiet and respectful. All apartment was fully furnished and had all the necessary appliances and/or items in each room. The neighborhood was lovely and had a lot of stores and restaurants within close walking distance, less than 10 minutes. The area is safe and quiet too. |
