Gloria and Frank were excellent landlords and neighbors through my stay at their apartment. The apartment is much larger compared to similar ones in this location within this price range. Although it's technically a studio, it is designed to give the feeling of a separate dining room and living room, which gives the place the feeling of a home rather than a hotel room. All that you might need is already included in the apartment, including kitchenware, dishes, towels, sheets etc. and everything is very clean. There is also A/C, which is crucial during the summer. Two downsides are 1) the fact that it is a basement apartment facing a busy-ish street, which means that you can either have sunlight or privacy and 2) you can hear the upstairs neighbor walking around in their apartment very loudly, which is a function of the building being somewhat old. However, if you want to live this close to Chelsea, Greenwich Village, and Meatpacking District, it is but a small price to pay. |

Linda and her son Dylan were remarkable guests. For sure we would welcome them back in a heartbeat. I must add, as an owner it is an honor when a guest enjoys our apartments and our community. |

The apartment was perfect; clean, comfortable, well furnished, and equipped with everything I needed. The owners are nice and friendly and responsive to questions and requests. It's a great location in Chelsea with lots to do everything I needed within walking distance. The apartment was my home for 7 months and I loved everything about it. |

This apartment was the perfect apartment for me on my sabbatical. The location couldn't be better in Chelsea! The space itself also was very, very clean and had everything I needed! I also felt that the value for the monthly rental cost was very, very appropriate. I'd definately stay at this apartment again in the future. |

I rented an apartment to house my tenant while I did reconstruction work on her apartment in my house. The apartment we found through New York Habitat was charming and comfortable. The location was very important because it is in my neighborhood so that my tenant was in familiar surroundings. |
