These fully furnished rooms for rent are in a late 1800s townhouse located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The rooms are on the top floor of a 3-story (equivalent to the European 2-story) walk-up house featuring hardwood floors, original antique wooden mouldings and decorations on walls, windows and doors. It has a backyard with wooden deck and a garden, shared amongst the housemates. There is an intercom/buzzer system.
The living room and shared kitchen are on the first floor.
Please note that the kitchen access is limited and is available for food storage and morning use, but not for evening use or preparing full meals with the stove/oven. The backyard is accessible from the kitchen. The second floor is occupied by the owners.
The rooms for rent and the full bathroom are upstairs on the 3rd floor. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer separating the rooms.
Bedroom 1 is furnished with a double size bed, a desk, a closet and a decorative fireplace. It has three windows with northern exposure overlooking the street below. There is a ceiling fan to cool the room.
Bedroom 2 is also furnished with a double size bed and a desk and closet. A window with a western exposure overlooks the bakyard.
Wireless Internet access is available.
Park Slope is a neighborhood in the western section of Brooklyn, New York City's most populous borough. Park Slope is roughly bounded by Prospect Park West to the east, Fourth Avenue to the west, Park Place to the north and 15th Street to the south, though other definitions are sometimes offered. It takes its name from its location on the western slope of neighboring Prospect Park. Seventh Avenue and Fifth Avenue are its primary commercial streets, with many historic brownstones populating its east-west side streets.
Please note that there are 2 cats in the house.

I stayed in this apartment for a very long time and everything went perfectly well. The landlady is very helpful and always available to help out. She makes sure you are comfortable and includes you in her daily life, but she also gives you some privacy. The brownstone is in Park Slope, very close to the F and G lines (which are very convenient). This is a very dynamic neighborhood with shops, restaurants, banks and bookstores... |

The house was absolutely beautiful, and I stayed in both of the rooms available for rent. Each room had its own charms, and I have no complaints about the place. My host was a very warm, interesting person and the house had a welcoming feel. |
