New York Room For Rent - Studio in Upper West Side (NY-14886)

This is a model room. It reflects both the quality and the style of the rooms we offer at this location. The individual rooms are a variation of this one with some differences in layout and exposure.

The room to rent is located in a building built in the early 1900s situated on 99th Street and Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York. The building has an elevator which gives access to all 7 floors, a 24-hour reception desk, and a coin-operated laundry room in the basement.

The air-conditioned room features a double bed, a smart TV, a desk with chair and a mini-fridge. The private bathroom features a toilet, sink and shower. The kitchen is shared with the other residents of the floor. There is one kitchen on each floor that is to be shared with the occupants of the 17 rooms on the floor. Kitchen supplies are not provided but you can buy them in supermarkets like Kmart, 99c stores or nearby housewares stores.

The building is located on Upper West Side, NYC where you will be able to enjoy an array of different cuisines such as American, Chinese, Mexican or even eat French at the Alouette restaurant or Middle Eastern at the Hummus Place. Bars and cafes, as well as different supermarkets such as Whole Foods, are a short walk away. If you feel like having some physical activities, Central Park is a few blocks away where you can run, ice skate (in winter) or have a walking tours. The closest subway station is at the corner of 96th Street and Broadway where you can catch the red line (1, 2, 3 trains).

Please note that this furnished unit offers apartment-style accommodations with a communal kitchen environment. The occupant should not expect to have the same experience as a regular rental in a New York City residential apartment. It is also important to note that depending on the room's placement within the building, some traffic noise from Broadway may travel into the unit.
