The interior photos are from a model apartment in the building. The model apartment is representative of both the quality and style of apartments offered at this location. Description, floor plan and photos are for reference purposes only. Actual apartment's dimensions, layouts and furniture may vary.
The small room to rent is in a low-rise building of 7 floors (6 floors for Europeans) built in 1910. The building is located on Broadway and West 99th Street, Upper West Side, New York. It has a 24-hour reception desk, coin-operated laundry facilities and an elevator. The closest subway entrance is three blocks away on 96th Street and Broadway where you can access the 1, 2 and 3 red lines.
The air-conditioned room has a single size bed as well as flat screen smart TV. A mini fridge is available where you can keep fresh vegetables and fruits. You can go to the shared kitchen to cook a meal. The occupants of the surrounding 17 rooms of the floor are able to do the same and will bring, as you need to, their own kitchen supplies and utensils (since they are not provided). The 3 bathrooms are shared between 13 rooms. Please note that towels are not provided.
Please note that this furnished unit offers apartment-style accommodations with a communal kitchen environment. The occupant should not expect to have the same experience as a regular rental in a New York City residential apartment.
Living on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and close to Central Park offers easy access to many different activities. If you are an indoor type, you can visit museums and art galleries in the immediate neighborhood. If you are an outdoor person and want to use your physical skills, there are many recreation centers offering a wide variety of sports activities. You can register for swimming classes, rent a bicycle in Central Park, or simply put your sneakers on and run around Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. The nightlife is vibrant on the Upper West side, with a wide variety of restaurants for all budgets, whether you wish to have dinner at Sarabeth’s West or a simple hot dog at Gray’s Papaya. The bar scene is also eclectic from the upscale Prohibition lounge to the laid back Bourbon Street bar. It is also important to note that depending on the room's placement within the building, some traffic noise from Broadway may travel into the unit.
Please note that some noise can be heard in the rooms facing the street.

The room was really small and the rent pretty expensive but it?s quite normal in New York and we had room cleaning. Sharing the bathroom was usually fine except for one part of my stay when the hotel was packed and some guests not really clean. |

The apartment was fine and the location was perfect. But the staff was not always very helpful. |
