This bedroom for rent is part of a shared two-bedroom apartment on the 18th floor (considered 17th by Europeans) of a high-rise elevator building in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. There are laundry facilities available in the building. The apartment windows and the balcony have a northeast exposure, offering a clear view from it's high vantage point, looking over the Brooklyn neighborhoods toward the Manhattan skyline.
The bedroom has a window that facing the balcony, giving a view of over Prospect Park and New York City rooftops all the way to Manhattan. The room includes conveniences such as a queen size bed, a cable TV and a phone. The bathroom, living room, kitchen and balcony are shared with the roommate of the apartment, who occupies the second bedroom. The living room has comfortable furnishings and a modern rug, with the kitchen around the corner.
The shared apartment is located at Sullivan Place, around the corner from Bedford Avenue, in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. The beautiful Prospect Park is just two blocks away from the apartment. Here you will find the popular New York attractions Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Prospect Park Zoo and Brooklyn Museum. Of course it is also a great place to just take a stroll or to have a picnic when the weather is nice. In the summer Prospect Park becomes the venue of outdoor concerts and movie screenings. The Crown Heights neighborhood and adjacent Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood both offer a wide variety of restaurants, bars and grocery shops: the Caribbean City bar is only two blocks away. The nearest subway station is Prospect Park, which is about 1000 feet (305 meters) from the apartment. Here you can take the B or Q trains to commute to Manhattan, or the S train to northern Brooklyn.
Please note that there is a cat in this apartment, cared for by the roommate.

the apartment was in a very nice area. Prospect Park is very close by and really beautiful. The walls were a bit thin so you could hear neighbors but noise canceling ear plugs should be efficient. The room was spacious and had enough closet space. The cat, was very unproblematic (I am usually scared of them!!) but the owners cat was super sweet. The view from the balcony was nice. |

I was was unaware my walls was so thin that you could hear noise coming from them. The client never complain to me about noise. |

Olivia is kind. A good listener, she is affable and easy to live with. The apartment is well equipped and clean. The apartment is not far from Manhattan. I strongly recommend it. |

It was a really good experience. The room is large and clean, and the kitchen and living room are well equipped and comfortable. The apartment is close to the subway stop, and this was highly important to me since going to Manhattan was easy and fast. |

Building is for public housing, it wasn't actually what I was looking for. I'm from out of state so I wasn't expecting to see a public housing apartment on the agency list. It was an awesome experience, but it wasn't what I was looking for exactly. |
