Visit Bedford-Stuyvesant, one of Brooklyn’s oldest and most beloved neighborhoods, and stay in this spacious three bedroom apartment share in the heart of North Brooklyn. Located on Kosciuszko Street and Tompkins Avenue, this fully furnished apartment features three separate rooms for rent, and is situated on the second floor of a three floor classic NYC townhouse.
Please note that each bedroom is rented privately as a room in an apartment share. While the bedroom will be your private space, the living room, kitchen, and bathroom are shared with roommates.
Upon entering this pristine Brooklyn brownstone, the spacious living room features a large sofa and two chairs, facing a flat screen cable TV, coffee table, and ceiling fan. The interior décor features calming earth tones, hardwood floors, and modern wall art, making the room fresh, comfortable, and open. The kitchen is spacious and stylish, with full tile flooring; it features all modern appliances including an oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. There is a beautiful marble dining table equipped with seating for two and a window allowing natural light to brighten the room. The bathroom is large and clean, with a tub and shower, WC, and fresh clean towels.
Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, two windows, a deep mahogany vanity dresser, hardwood floors, a closet, and comforting cool tones. Bedroom 2 features three large windows; a queen sized bed faces the large vanity and is next to two large closets, perfect for storing anything you may need. Bedroom 3 is cozy and spacious, with a double bed, window, mahogany vanity, and closet space.
There will be an air conditioning unit supplied for all three bedrooms during the summer months. Also note that there is an in-unit washer and dryer.
Bedford Stuyvesant is one of the most distinctive neighborhoods in Brooklyn, allowing visitors an authentic experience of real New York City culture. Referred to as “The real Brooklyn,” Bed-Stuy has been home to such iconic Brooklynites as Jay-Z, Jackie Robinson, Aaliyah, and Norah Jones.
Hop on the subway at Myrtle-Willoughby Avenues / Marcy Avenue (G train, 0.3 mi/0.5 km) or Myrtle Avenue / Broadway (J, M and Z trains; 1 mi/1.6 km) and explore other parts of Brooklyn, Manhattan, and New York’s other boroughs.

I wouldn't wish this apartment on my worst enemy. The landlady was unfriendly, rude and annoying. It is located in a dangerous and poor area. Moreover, I had to insist in order to get the security deposit back, though my room, which I left in perfect condition, was rented out on the very day of my departure. |

Very well-located apartment, 20 minutes from Manhattan. Quiet and pleasant area, laundromat and supermarket are nearby. Spacious bedroom. Landlady is very nice and receptive. |

Very nicely and warmly welcomed by the landlady! Generally clean apartment but it could be better maintained! The air conditioner is very efficient when it is hot outside, but when the weather is chilly, the bedroom is quite cold. |

Tim, you were a very quiet and charming guest. I just regret that you didn't share your concern about the heat, I will have provided you with an electric heater. The heat is otherwise provided on October 14th of each year as per law. At the time you were there, we had some door issues that are now fixed, unlucky for you, I was on vacations when it all broke down. In a general manner, I am always fixing the apartments or trying to improve them. |
