This recently-renovated fully-furnished 3-bedroom brownstone apartment can be found near the crossing of Quincy Street and Lewis Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, in the heart of Brooklyn. This 923-square-foot (about 86 m2) New York City rental is located on the 3rd floor (equivalent to the 2nd floor in Europe) of a no-elevator building with laundry facilities. Exposed brick in the bedroom and hardwood floors found throughout the apartment add character to the space. The one-way street out front is lined with trees and other townhouses.
All rooms in this townhouse are spacious with high ceilings and natural light. The living room includes modern furnishing alongside a sofa bed. The bathroom has a bathtub and a showerhead. Each bedroom is equipped with a bed, desk, chair, and dresser. One of the bedrooms has a queen-sized bed while another has a double-sized one. The last bedroom has a single-sized bed. When you want to cook at home, the kitchen is furnished with an oven, fridge, freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle, cooking and dining utensils, and cutlery. As for general amenities, the apartment has air conditioning, central heating, and high speed wireless internet. Smoking and pets are not permitted in the rental space.
The townhouse is surrounded by some of Brooklyn’s best cafes, eateries, bars, and parks. It is located minutes away—approximately a 0.5-mile or 800-meter radius—from Botani Cafe, Rolling Cream, Saraghina, and Brooklyn Beso. It is also less than 2.6 miles or about 4 km from Ornithology Jazz Club, Prospect Park, and more! The rental is also less than a mile (about 1.5 km) from a broad selection of grocery stores, pharmacies, delis, parks, shops, and attractions.
The apartment is minutes from the J/M/Z/A/C trains, MTA bus station, and Citi Bike stations. It is also just a 30 minute commute to Manhattan, 10 minute commute to Williamsburg, 30 minute drive to JFK International Airport, and 20 minute drive to LGA Airport!
The Kosciuszko Street and Broadway station—located 0.6 miles or about 1 km from the townhouse—has access to subway train line J. Another station can be found near the intersection of Utica Avenue and Fulton Street—0.8 miles or about 1.3 km away—and has service to subway train lines A and C.

As a young HBCU graduate in a new area striving to build a future for myself I was amazed at the sense of safety and security I felt in this building. The building is well kept and clean at such an amazing price I ended up renewing my lease. Any issue I had, where other landlords could not be found, the owner's Family was always available even at their own inconvenience. It was humbling to see, as not all landlords are like this. The Head of the family is a humble man who truly cares about his property and tenants. He helped me build a better relationship with NY Habitat by encouraging me to ask them any questions regarding my contract and what would be needed for a comfortable stay. |
