Welcome to Bushwick, Brooklyn! You will find a charming four bedroom apartment located at the cross of Malcolm X Boulevard and Dekalb Avenue.
Upon walking up the stairs and entering the apartment you will arrive in the living room where you will find a dining table. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, a stove, a fridge and a microwave. Bedroom 1 has a double sized bed and a closet for storage space. Bedroom 2 has a single sized bunk bed and a closet as well. Bedroom 3 has a double sized bed. And bedroom 4 has a single sized bed. The bathroom has a shower and a toilet.
Where coffee shops open every week, the street art is huge, and celebrities enjoy a pizza slice at Roberta’s, welcome to Bushwick, Brooklyn! Also known as the “seventh coolest neighborhood on the planet”, Bushwick is filled with creative people. You will find many bars, restaurants, bodegas and their cats. Indeed, it is vibrant, creative, and full of energy. You won’t forget your time in Bushwick, Williamsburg’s little sister. Enjoy a nice walk along colorful apartment’s buildings as colorful Bushwick will make you feel like you are living in a outdoors museum. You will find many street art and murals with powerful messages all around the neighborhood. Just by walking around the streets you are bound to find some of the best pizza in New York City. You will also be able to go on a tour of some of the best graffitis. It’s not for nothing that Vogue’s Anna Wintour named Bushwick one of the most stylish neighborhoods of the world.

The apartment was adequate for a 6-month stay, but no more than that! Please note that there is no cleaning charge, so the apartment is maintained by the residents, and it was dirty most of the time because not everyone participates. For example, it doesn't have a vacuum cleaner, which doesn't make the task any easier. The neighborhood is very noisy but quite safe, and there's a launderette 100m away, which is very convenient! It's also worth noting that the landlord rents out a room downstairs where parties are held at weekends, so that's noisy too. Apart from that, Stevon is accommodating and made sure that everything went smoothly for me and the other roommates. I'd say this apartment is not incredibly comfortable but it's convenient for a short period. |

The apartment is located near the subway station at Kosciuzko st., which is served by the line J, 3 minutes walking and not too far from Myrtle av station, for the lines J and M. The apartment is a 15-minute subway ride away from Manhattan. The location is very convenient and well connected by buses as well. The house is a little old but at the same time the room is warm and cozy. After all, this is a good apartment considering the price and the location. The area might seem dangerous, but in the 3 months that I lived there, I had no problems on that front. I recommend this apartment to whoever wants to stay close to Manhattan. |

Thanks for staying at this apartment. I will take all of this in consideration for the future. We now have in house cleaning service once a week, still all guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. We don't want to be confused with a hotel where you have room service daily. Anything you would like added to the room can always be requested such as, chair, table, etc. Value of an apartment is really a matter of perspective, we all see things differently. The apartment has been upgraded based on feedback, thanks. All I can say is that we have an amazing apartment in an amazing city!!! |
