This is a great place to relax and enjoy the breeze or you can take advantage of the athletic facilities, ranging from basketball and tennis courts to soccer fields. The Greenway can be used for biking or jogging, and runs all the way down Manhattan's West Side! The Morningside Heights neighborhood is dominated by Columbia University and has plenty of entertainment options. It is full of cafes, restaurants, and performing arts centers. The Columbia campus is just a block away off of Broadway (around 150 meters). Additionally, the Morningside Park and Waterfall are located 0.6 miles (around 1 km) away. This park has additional basketball courts as well as softball fields.
The nearest subway stations serve the 1 train, which you can catch at either 116th Street and Broadway (0.3 miles or around 500 meters) or at Cathedral Parkway and Broadway (0.2 miles or around 300 meters).

I spent five perfect months in this apartment! It was my very first time in New York and I felt very much at home thanks to the kindness of the host. The neighborhood is quiet and there is everything you need, the room is spacious and well supplied. The host is very responsive to your needs and questions but you have a lot of privacy and autonomy. I couldn't have asked for more, I warmly recommend this accommodation! |

During my 10 week stay, the host was helpful orienting to New York, provided engaging conversations, and provided a great amount of privacy in her place. While there were other roommates, they kept to themselves (as did I). It was a comfortable, quiet stay. |

Nice Neighbourhood, everything close by and the location is very quite. Lovely, very caring landlady, who lives in the apartment and is looking for you to have a pleasant stay. The decoration is quite vintage, as if you lived in old times. The overall experience I had here was quite satisfied. The owner is pretty hospital and warm-hearted, who you can treat as a close friend rather than a landlord. |
