This fully furnished one bedroom apartment is situated in the select Arc de Triomphe neighborhood in Paris. It is on the fourth floor (considered fifth by Americans) of a building from the early 1930s, complete with a classic Parisian elevator (or stairs). The charming entrance of the building is in an 18th century hôtel particulier. Access is granted through a coded system and an intercom. A superintendent is available on the premises.
The apartment has high ceilings with moldings, mirroring the architecture of the building’s entrance. The interior decoration has been inspired by Asian influences, is modern and warm with most of the necessary amenities for your stay. You will feel right at home in this apartment. Exposure is southwest with a view on the courtyard.
Be aware that there is not a door between the living room and bedroom, and that an opening in the kitchen looks onto the bedroom.
This apartment is situated on rue Copernic in the 16th arrondissement in Paris. Famous restaurants and brasseries, Prêt à porter boutiques, as well as numerous other high-end retail stores are what the neighborhood is known for. A small supermarket and a bank are in the surrounding streets.
The apartment is two blocks away from the legendary Avenue des Champs-Elysées, where you can dine at high-end restaurants (Le Fouquet’s, Prunier…) and visit the historic Arc de Triomphe, which offers a magnificent view over Paris and is situated on top of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
The Place du Trocadéro and the Palais de Chaillot, which houses many museums, such as the Musée de l’Homme and the Musée de la Marine, is right at the end of Avenue Kléber. The Musée national des Art asiatiques Guimet, as well as the Musée d’art moderne de la Ville de Paris are also within walking distance to the apartment. In a couple of métro stops you will be able to visit two of the biggest symbols of the capital, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.
