Live like the luxurious Parisians in this one bedroom apartment located on Rue Ponthieu between rue de Colisée & Avenue Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Sitting on the first floor (considered the 2nd floor in the U.S.) of a 19th century elevator building, it is situated in the upscale neighborhood of the 8th arrondissement near the Champs-Elysées. Provided in this building is a coded security system for extra privacy and a superintendent available to ensure the best possible stay. Imagine walking amongst the most affluent Parisians in the city and retiring home to a most majestic apartment!
The living room, fully furnished with plush accessories, welcomes you with its hardwood floors, long grey sofa adorned with purple pillows, and flat screen television. A black table complete with four black chairs sit next to the couch and provide a comfortable space to relax or enjoy meals. Purple curtains subtly matching the couch pillows flow in the wind, hung over the long window viewing the street below. Decorated on the calm white walls are a long, horizontal mirror and a painting of flowers. It’s a place to rest after a busy day, and provides most of the necessities to do so, including an air conditioner and a phone. The bedroom, furnished similarly to the living room, includes a purple-colored double bed and matching curtains hung above the window, facing the street. A tall lamp stands at the foot of the bed, two night tables surround the sleeping space, and a full-sized mirror leans against the wall. The separate kitchen come equipped with most appliances needed for any meal, including an oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and fridge. The beautiful bathroom is decorated with tiled floors and walls. It contains a shower with glass doors, a mirror above the sink, and a toilet residing nearby, separated by doors.
The 8th arrondissment of Paris is exploding with high-end merchandise and French elite. Just check out the tree-lined street of Champs-Elysées, known for its expensive boutiques and a short walk from the apartment. While you’re there, visit its surrounding neighborhood which includes Grand Palais and Petit Palais (both holding museums), the famous theatre Théâtre des Champs Elysees, and the Lido Cabaret. Also within walking distance from your awaiting Paris accommodation is Elysée Palace (home to the French president), Arc de Triomphe, Hôtel de Crillon (one of the oldest luxury hotels in Paris), Musée Jacquemart André, and one of the city’s most extravagant bridges, the Pont Alexandre III. Other nearby attractions include the famed church Eglise de la Madeleine and the serene environment of Parc Monceau. A quick walk (about 270 meters/900 feet) from the apartment for rent is the metro station of Franklin D. Roosevelt, offering the 1 and 9 trains. An even shorter walk in the opposite direction will take you the Saint-Philippe-du-Roule metro station, offering the 9 train. These two stations will provide you with the means to travel all over Paris. Although, why would you? There’s so much to see right outside your front door!
