This alcove studio apartment is located in lively neighborhood of Le Marais in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. Although the area itself is animated, you will be on a calm, quiet street. The rental is on the ground floor of a 4-story walk-up building (equivalent to the American 5-story) with a coded entry system and concierge services.
The living area of the 14-m² (150 sqf) apartment is lined with hardwood flooring and receives natural light through the two large windows. The windows overlook a path excusively reserved for the building's residents. for It is furnished with a sofa, which can be converted into a single size bed, a flat-screen TV, and a dining table for two. The open kitchen is equipped with a sink, refrigerator-freezer, stove-oven, and the basic cooking and eating utensils. You will sleep on the mezzanine level, which is furnished with a double bed, hamper, and nightstands with shelves, where you can place your personal belongings. The bathroom is lined with white tiles on the floor, and colorful yellow and green tiles on the walls. It contains a bathtub-shower, WC, washbasin, and wall-mounted mirror and shelves. On Rue des Graulliers & Rue Beaubourg, this alcove studio has easy subway access, with the two closest stations being Arts et Métiers (300 m / 980 mi), on lines 3 and 11, and Rambuteau (400 m / 0.25 mi ) on Line 11. There is plenty to do and see in Le Marais, which is located on the right bank of the Seine River and known as the ‘aristocratic district’ of Paris. This area has a lot of character, with its trendy fashion boutiques, numerous art galleries, and fun bars. It has large gay, Jewish, and Chinese communities, making it a very diverse neighborhood. You can do your grocery shopping on Rue de Bretagne (500 m / 0.3 mi) and visit all of the fashion shops on Quartier du Temple, just north of the apartment building. If you want to grab a bite, there are numerous dining spots in the vicinity, the most notable ones being L’Ambroisie, at the famous Place des Vosges (1.3km / 0.8 mi), and Brasserie Bofinger (450m / 0.28mi further), on Rue de la Bastille. The City of Lights is very culturally rich, so take advantage of the apartment’s great location and visit many of the nearby museums. These include Musée Picasso (700 m / 0.43mi ), Musée Carnavalet (1.1km / .7mi), Musée de la Poupée (550 m / 0.34mi), and Centre George Pompidou (500 m / 0.3mi).
