Neighborhood:
This apartment is located in a very old part of Paris and a very popular area, the Marais. It is one of the Parisian neighborhoods that has preserved almost all of its pre-revolutionary architecture.
Close by is the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, Les Halles Mall, and the well-known pedestrian rue de Montorgueil, a residential and commercial street with greengrocers, fishmongers, and lovely restaurants and cafes. A little farther away is the royal Place des Vosges with the residences of many historic personalities. Also nearby are the Louvre, City Hall, and the Seine River with its enchanting islands.
The apartment is accessible via a charming renovated passage in a friendly, cosmopolitan neighborhood where people casually greet each other.
Premises:
This 33m² (approx. 355 sq. ft.) alcove studio apartment is located on the second floor of an 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system. The passage for accessing the building from the street is also protected by a coded system during the night.
It has a southern exposure and there is a parquet floor everywhere except the kitchen and the bathroom, which are tiled.
Layout:
The entrance door opens directly into the open kitchen. The living room is on the right and the bathroom is accessible through the bedroom area.
The alcove 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) is divided into two parts. The first one is a traditional living room, which has two windows overlooking a private passage. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, an armchair, a table and a cable TV with a DVD player. This room is connected to Internet.
The second part is a bedroom area with two windows that also faces the private street. It is furnished with a double-size bed, an armchair and a built-in closet.
The open kitchen has a window and is equipped with two vitro-ceramic burners, a small refrigerator, a combo grill/microwave oven, a washing machine, an old-fashioned coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is also a wrought iron table with a matching chair and a large bench.
The small but well-arranged bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, an electric rack and a toilet.
The nearest metro station is Etienne Marcel (line 4).
Heat and hot water are electric and are individually metered.

The apartment is wonderful. Is perfectly located and the interior design is awesome. I felt home when I already entered the apartment the first time. Furthermore, the owner is so nice and helps wherever she can, which is not usual. She is really professional and makes the stay even more comfortable. I can recommend this [Paris furnished] apartment to everyone. |
