This studio apartment is located on the 3rd floor (considered 4th b Americans) of a 9-story Art Deco building with elevator and full-time doorman in the Quartier de la Madeleine, Paris. The studio has a southern exposure towars the Boulevard de la Madeleine below.
When you enter this vacation rental you will find the small kitchen block to your right. The living area is straight ahead, and features hardwood floors, modern furnishings and sliding glass windows. These windows lead to a balcony overlooking the Boulevard below, and you can enjoy a nice French cup of coffee with croissant in the sun at the table and two chairs on the balcony. The living room itself contains a double sofa bed, regular double bed, wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable and a round designer dining table that seats four. Two closets provide storage space. A door leads to the bathroom of the apartment, which contains a bathtub with shower, WC and washbasin. Sheets and towels are provided upon arrival and books and guides to Paris are also available to help guide you around the City of Lights.
You can find this vacation rental accommodation on Boulevard de la Madeleine near Rue de Sèze in the 9th Arrondissement of Paris. There are literally restaurants, cafes, boutiques and shops all around in this bustling neighborhood. La Maison du Chocolat right down your doorstep is an institution in Paris, so be warned: you might be tempted to skip breakfast every day and just eat delicious chocolate instead. If you do feel like trying your hand at cooking à la French, Monoprix across the street is more than just a grocery store: here you will find all your daily necessities. Furthermore, the Madeleine Church, which gave its name to the neighborhood, is just 3 blocks away from the apartment. If you walk two blocks south from here, passing stores such as Chanel, Ralph Lauren and Gucci, you will find the Place de la Concorde which lies in between the Tuileries Garden and Avenue des Champs-Élysées. To go beyond the Opéra - Grands Boulevards - Clichy area, you can easily catch a subway at the Madeleine Metro station 3 blocks away (8, 12 & 14 lines), or at the Opéra Metro station also three blocks away (3, 7 & 8 lines), which is right next to the iconic Opéra Garnier.
