This 22m² (approx. 235 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the first floor (one up from street level) of a 1750s building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and opens to a nice paved courtyard. From there, a door with a coded system leads to the original 17th century staircase and the elevator. On the apartment level, a flight of steps leads to a long corridor and the apartment door.
The apartment entrance opens into a small hall, which has a built-in closet with sliding doors and leads to the bathroom and the main room. The 14m² (approx. 150 sq. ft.) main room has a parquet floor and two double-gazed windows with exterior shutters that overlook the courtyard with a western exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a folding dining table with chairs, built-in bookshelves and a cable TV. The open kitchen is equipped with two vitro ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, a microwave, an oven, a small refrigerator, a coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle and a washer / condenser dryer. The tiled bathroom contains a shower stall, a washbasin, a toilette and shelves.
This furnished apartment is situated in the 7th arrondissment of Paris on Quai Voltaire, with the Seine River directly in front of the building, and the Louvre Museum right across the river, and the Tuileries Garden with its romantic benches and cafes. The intellectual core of Paris, the Quartier Latin abounds with nearby historical points of interest such as the Seine, Musee d'Orsay, Notre Dame, and the Boulevard Saint Germain as well as many antique shops. On the other side of the Jardin des Tuileries are the Opera Garnier and Place Vendôme with its world famous jewelers. All around this accommodation are select restaurants, cafes, cinemas, and supermarkets.

For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are St. Germain des Près (line 4), Palais Royal (lines 1 and 7) and Tuileries (line 1). The metro stop Musee D'Orsay is also nearby as well as about 12 different bus lines to everywhere in the city and beyond.

Excellent location. The apartment is very nice and fully equipped. I've had some electrical problems (the lights don't function properly). |
