This modernly furnished one-bedroom apartment sits in the Midtown West/Times Square neighborhood of Manhattan. An ideal NYC location, the accommodation features carpeted floors, large windows, and a contemporary environment.
The one-bedroom home sits on the 10th floor (considered 9th in Europe) of a 21-story high-rise elevator luxury building. A shared laundry room and gym are available on premise. For your comfort and convenience, a full-time doorman is on duty in the large, marble lobby.
In the living room, two windows allow natural sunlight into the space and look over the street at an nearby building. For comfortable guest accommodation, a regular sofa with pillows. A large flat-screen television supplies indoor entertainment, and some shelf space is offered. Other highlights include a round glass table, closet space, and some modern decorations.
An open kitchen presents white tiled floors and matching white cabinets. Most cooking appliances are supplied, including a dishwasher and a small oven for your convenience. Near the kitchen area, a small table with two stools allows space for home-cooked meals.
Access to the bathroom is available from the living room. The tiled bathroom includes a full-sized tub/shower with curtain.
The bedroom incorporates an elegant and relaxed environment. Two large windows with flowing white curtains look to the street below. As the home is located on a high floor, minimal street noise is heard. A full-sized bed and desk with chair is provided. For maximum item storage, a walk-in closet attaches to the room – a rarity in NYC! Additionally, a dark wooden dresser with drawers and a mirror is supplied.
Please note that this building is located near Time Square which can be noisy at a times.
Midtown West is the perfect place to get acquainted with some of the most well-known attractions of New York City. It includes Times Square, the Theater District, and Rockefeller Center! Apartment was not clean. There was urine drops on the toilet bowl and what looked like mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinets. None of the radiators, window sills or end tables had been dusted. There was no light in the bedroom. I can live with the fact that the towels and sheets were mismatched, but there was no frying pan, vegetable peeler, can opener, etc. In short, the kitchen essentially could not be used. |

Further to this review, we contacted the owner who confirmed he will assure that the apartment is clean "Hotel Style" with the maid service, will check and replace the light bulb and make sure there is a frying pan in the kitchen. |
