Furnished and ready for your upcoming visit to New York City, this lovely one bedroom apartment is located in a brownstone at West 88th Street and Central Park West in Manhattan’s stylish Upper West Side neighborhood. The fourth floor walkup (third floor for Europeans) has buzzer/intercom system and, best of all, the one bedroom has a private outdoor terrace (about 120 sqft or 11 sqm), great for enjoying a cup of coffee and the newspaper on the weekends or a sunset at the end of another busy day.
You will love the apartment’s stately wood flooring, not to mention the decorative fireplace that serves as the unit’s centerpiece in the living room. Here you can watch television and relax on the sofa. Two large windows bathe the space in sunlight. The cook in your family will be pleased with the selection of appliances on hand in the eat-in kitchen. In the small bedroom you’ll find a queen-sized bed in addition to a lofted mezzanine area to store your belongings. The window doubles as French doors that lead to the terrace. The bathroom has a full bathtub with shower and WC.
Please note that there is no door to close between the living room and the bedroom.
One of New York’s most photogenic areas, you’ll be sure to recognize the Upper West Side from many of the television shows and movies filmed in NYC. Another advantage is your close proximity to iconic Central Park (0.1mi), literally just down the street. One of the city’s most impressive landmarks, the park offers a variety of recreational activities such as boating, jogging, cycling, and birding. It also hosts concert and movie series over the summer months. Nearby Columbus Avenue (0.1mi) features essentials like supermarkets and drugstores, and the area offers a fine assortment of restaurants.
You are very close to several subway stops. The 86th Street and Central Park West (0.2mi) stop is a couple of streets away, and here you can catch the B and C trains, which run along the west side of Manhattan. The 1 train at 86th Street and Broadway (0.4mi) is also within walking distance, which provides local service but can also connect you to express trains for quickly making your way downtown.

It was perfect. The moving in and out was very smooth. I had a very good relationship with the landlord. The neighborhood is very quiet and I think the staff and moving was very flexible. |

Wonderfully light place because of the windows, the terrace and the decor. Incredibly quiet for Manhattan. Great original features, especially the fireplace. Very warm, friendly, yet not interfering owners who live in the building, which is comforting. |
