PROS
- Spacious for a studio
- Great entertainment system
- Ample closet space
- Good facilities in the building i.e. gym
- Attentive doormen

CONS

Apartment is seriously old and poorly maintained:
- Chipped flooring in the kitchen
- Dust and accumulation of food/dirt in between stove
- Mold on bathroom walls and shower curtain
- Wind coming from outside into the apartment on the right side of the bed. During the summer the AC was leaking water so I had to put towels on the floor
- Cooking vent works badly so the cooking smell fills the whole house/corridor
- Heater doesn't work --> Blueground had to send in an additional heater
- Being constantly burned and frozen in the shower because the hot water system is old. Made 2 appointments with building staff to replace it and he failed to show up on both times
- Dryers broke down constantly to the point where other residents and I had to dry our clothes 3 times which was such a waste of money
- Apartment is incredibly dark even with all the lights on as there's no central ceiling light. It's worse during the winter
- Renovation my entire stay (August 2021 - Jan 2022). Would have preferred to know prior so that I could've chosen another apartment since my husband was working from home

I used to live in NYC opposite this current building at Union Sq South which was fantastic so this is what I'm basing my experience on.
