Live like a native Parisian with this furnished studio apartment in Place d’Italie. Featuring a kitchen and private outdoor terrace, this accommodation is ideal for individual or couple travelers!
This studio apartment is located on rue Simonet between rue Gerard and rue Bobillot. It sits on the 3rd floor (considered 4th in U.S.) of a four-story 20th century elevator building. For your convenience a personal laundry machine is provided in the home, and private parking space is available (at an additional fee). An intercom security system assures privacy and easy guest entry.
Serenely decorated with hardwood floors and pumpkin-colored linens, this accommodation includes a main living area furnished as a bedroom, a full open kitchen attached to the main living area, and a separate bathroom nearest the front entrance. The entrance corridor includes a large built-in closet.
In the living area, a full-sized bed with fresh sheets sits next to a flat-screen cable television, providing modern entertainment during lazy days inside. Access to the private terrace is available through sliding glass doors. One window looks out to the terrace, next to a wooden desk accommodating comfortable completion of workloads. The furnished terrace includes patio chairs and a patio table. It overlooks the surrounding Paris streets and architecture.
A tiled kitchen presents ample cabinet space and most necessary cooking appliances. A small wooden dining table attaches to one counter top. The laundry machine is located in this room. The tiled bathroom offers a tub and fresh towels.
Located in the 13th arrondissement, the apartment for rent sits conveniently close to the beloved areas of Gobelins and Gare d’Austerlitz. Not known as being a popular tourist destination, it remains a rather unchartered area except for locals. There are some touristy draws however, such as the modern National Library and a lively Chinatown community. Listed below are some suggestions of where to go in the area.
- Bibliotheque Nationale: This enormous structure is intended to store all that is published in France. 2.4km/1.5mi. Accessible via metro.
- Chinatown: Small neighborhood known for its Chinese-influenced subculture, featuring Asian-themed shops and restaurants! 1.3km/0.8mi. Accessible via foot.
- Gare d’Austerlitz: One of six large railroad stations in the city. 2km/1.2mi. Accessible via metro.
- Butte aux Cailles neighborhood: Charming village-like environment offering narrow cobblestone roads and small boutiques. 364ft/110m. Accessible via foot.
For public transportation around Paris, there are two nearby metro stations:
- Place d’Italie: Slightly further from the apt, but serving the 5, 6 and7 lines. 600m/0.4mi.
- Corvisart: Closer to the apartment, with access to the 6 line. 450m/0.3mi

The owner is nice and helpful. Everything well when staying here. It is cosy and comfort with the terrace and big window that allow sunshine very much, also spacious. However, the only thing is the water-heater will run out of power when using in a period of time. Its a bit annoying when you need a hot bath and theres no hot water. After knowing this problem, the only way is to remind myself not to us too much hot water or it will run out of the energy. |
