Neighborhood:
This furnished studio apartment is situated on Rue de L'Exposition between Rue de Grenelle and Rue Saint Dominique. Everything in the area of Invalides is on a monumental scale, starting from the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire and the Parc du Champs de Mars, stretching down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The avenues around the Tower are lined with luxurious buildings, some in the Art Nouveaux style, and numerous embassies. The Eiffel Tower, originally built to impress visitors to the Universal Exhibition of 1889, was meant to be temporary and now is the symbol of Paris. There are all sorts of shops near this accommodation, including the colorful and exclusive street market on Rue Cler.
