Two of Paris's grandest green spaces spread out from the Place de Breteuil just around the corner from the apartment. The Champ de Mars, the military training grounds below the Eiffel Tower, and the Esplanade des Invalides are famous as the best spots in Paris for a sunny picnic. It's a short walk to the Rodin Museum, one of the best kept secrets in Paris. You can spend hours strolling around the gardens of this historic urban mansions' grounds and admiring Rodin's sculptures. The Musée d'Orsay and the surrounding Saint-Germain district are famous for some of the world's best known galleries and high-end boutiques. One of the biggest department stores in Paris, Le Bon Marché, is located about 1km away (.7 miles).
