This furnished studio apartment is located in the 17th arrondissement (Batignolles - Ternes) of Paris, on Rue Laugier between Rue Pierre Demours and Boulevard Pereire. It is only a few steps away from the Arc de Triomphe.
This 14m² (approx 150 sqft) studio apartment is located on the 6th and top floor (7th in the USA) of an Haussmannian building. The main entrance gate protected by a coded system opens into a hall. Then a second gate also protected by a coded security system opens into a corridor followed by a courtyard. The entrance is on the left. The living area of this Paris apartment is compact but bright. It features eaturing parquet floor, an integrated wooden table with drawers, a comfortable sofa and chair, a fitted wardrobe with drawers, a washing machine, and a wall mounted flat screen TV. It also has a single mattress on the floor. You will also find a French window with curtains and a small balcony with a view on the courtyard.
The bathroom has a shower and a sink with drawers and a mirrored medicine cabinet. There is also an electric toilet. Please note that the electric toilet can be easily damaged if used for the disposal of anything other than toilet paper. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a double-induction cooktop, a stone sink, an integrated refrigerator with freezer unit, a coffee maker, a microwave, a toaster and all the basic ustensils and cooking supplies.
This traditional Parisian neighborhood has a great variety of shops, nice restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and open air markets like the one on Rue Poncelet. The well-known Parc de Monceau, known for its wrought iron gates and spectacular gardens, is not far from this accommodation. Further up, the famous Place de l’Etoile and the celebrated Avenue des Champs Elysees can be found.

The room was very small but livable. |

I've taken note of this feedback. The studio is being completely renovated for the year 2012/2013. Therefore I'm thankful for these comments, as they will allow me to make specific improvements. Ariel didn't mention anything about her welcome--it's worth noting that I helped her settle in (assisting her in opening a bank account, internet, phone, subway pass...) and that she found a host who speaks English proficiently. |
