Location of the apartment is great, everything is close by and in walking distance. It was also very clean. Doorman and people at the front desk were very nice and responsive. |

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the location and that the apt was very clean. The doorman and staff always strive for the best and we appreciate your compliments. Regarding the mattress, we were unaware that it was uncomfortable for you and would have gladly changed it along with the sheets. For future, just inform the front desk and we will take care of anything you may need. |

The apartment was in the area that I wanted. However the building was incredibly run down. The advert on NY Habitat showed laundry facilities and those weren't available. You had to pay a daily rate for internet and the internet did not work properly for a week. The air conditioning unit was full of mould and mildew so when I turned it on the first night I woke up to a load of mess on the floor underneath the AC unit. The men at the front desk were helpful and polite. But the building in general is in very bad condition. |

Thank you for your review, Kura! We are sorry to hear that your stay in New York was not completely satisfactory. We have addressed all concerns you mentioned with the owner to ensure that these issues do not arise in the future. We confirmed with the owner that there is a laundromat downstairs, but that this laundromat is in a separate retail portion of the building; not affiliated with the apartment building itself. We are sorry for this misunderstanding and we have made this much clearer on the website so that future guests will expect the laundry nearby, but not as part of the apartment building. The owner confirmed that the wifi is working well now and that they wish that you had told them at the time so that they could remedy the situation. As you know, the owner has offered you a reduced internet fee to make up for the time without internet. The owner also inspected the air conditioning unit and found that there was no mold, but some dust. This has now been cleaned out. |

Everything was good except the kitchen, I had all the supplies needed (forks, knifes, spoons, 2 plates, 2 bows, 2 pans, toaster, coffee maker and water heater), but the stove was in really bad conditions. The bed was fine, a little bit uncomfortable, but nothing to be worried about. The bathroom was great. The TV had just 5 channels, so I almost didn't use it during my stay. The air conditioner worked pretty good, but it was a little bit noise. |

Thank you for the review, Caroline! We're glad to hear you had a nice stay, despite the issues you experienced. The owner assured us that the stove has been repaired and is in working order. Also, the owner recently installed new flat screen TV's, complete with 60 channels of cable for your viewing pleasure. |

First, this apartment is right next to the bridge and the traffic is really really loud. Also the AC is really old and loud. We tried to find people to fix it, but they told us it's a bad quality AC and wouldn't able to fix us. |
Answer by: Apartment Owner Aug 02 2013 |
This apartment was newly renovated and is considered one of our better units. It is unfortunate that Qiu had a bad experience with her A/C unit, unfortunately this information was not given to the corporate office. If it were we would have replaced the A/C unit immediately with a brand new one. |
