This furnished apartment is located in the heart of the Marais (in the 4th disctrict of Paris), in an 18th listed walk-up building having a security system .The main entrance has beams on the ceiling.
Live and historical area "Le Marais" has a particular atmosphere also due to its pre-Revolution architecture, enclosing a substantial number of points of interest such as museums, like the Picasso museum, art galleries, design shops, as well as diverse types of trendy bars and restaurants. Also in this area is the royal Place des Vosges famous and hailed for the harmony of its architecture, where, at number 6 lived the world famous French novelist Victor Hugo from 1832 to 1848.
This remodelled studio has two double glazed windows with curtains, and is South/West oriented. There is an antic little table in the entry with a lamp.
It has wooden floor, and white painted walls. It is decorated with 140 wide sofa bad, a small table, and a chair, a cabled TV, including radio, a phone, a built in wall cupboard.
The open kitchen has a microwave, a fridge, a stainless steel sink and two electric burners.
The bathroom has a shower with a wall-mounted showerhead, protected by a glass door, and a washbasin surmounted by a mirror. The toilet is inside the bathroom.
There is a dressing outside the studio, situated on the floor, with shelves, and an independent toilet.
The nearest metro stations are Saint Paul (line 1)and Bastille (lines 1,5,8)
Please note: The apartment faces a street corner, therefore can be noisy at times.

A very nice apartment in a very convenient location. Its a small space, adequate for one person, but I think it would be tight for two. And it was rather loud, especially at night. |

We have been in contact with the owner who explained that the apartment can be noisy when windows are left open because it faces a street corner. |
