A few steps from the Seine River and Notre Dame Cathedral, this charming studio apartment is in one of the most youthful areas of Paris, the Quartier Latin! Located in the 5th arrondissement on the 1st floor (2nd floor to Americans) of a 17th century walk up building equipped with a security system, this cozy 30m2 (320 sqft) studio is perfect for one or two people.
High-end ceiling-mounted spotlights and a mirrored wall are the defining features of the 22m2 (235 sqft) living room, furnished with a double sofa bed, two vintage armchairs, a recessed closet, and a cable TV. The studio faces the leafy courtyard on the interior of the building.
The open kitchen has a convenient L-shaped counter/bar, making it easy to enjoy the whole space while you’re cooking at home. You’ll find essential kitchen equipment like two electric burners, and fridge. There’s also a washer and dryer, making this a great rental for longer stays.
Popular with university students, lifelong Parisians and tourists alike, the Latin Quarter is one of the city’s most beloved neighborhoods.
The closest metro stations are Maubert-Mutualité (line 10), Cardinal Lemoine (line 10), Cluny-La Sorbonne (line 10), and Jussieu (lines 7, 10).

I had much writing to do and many late evening appointments---the apt was extremely quiet, private-feeling and secure. As they say in the real estate business: location, location, location...and this apt has it times the desirable three. The owner is very responsive, fair, pleasant and charming. I cannot say enough about how great it is to have in-apt laundry. The owner asked me for suggestions for improvements and that appliance was immediately replaced. I have rented around the city and this apt was my best experience and I will likely seek to rent it again. (The Italian-designed sleeper double bed sofa is amazingly comfortable and easy to fold--instant conversion of the space to a nice, tidy living room area). |

The apartment is as good as it gets in terms of location - close to multiple metro lines including RER B which goes to both major airports in Paris. The access to stores, restaurants, and the French markets is excellent also. The apartment is only one room with a bathroom with a fold out bed. The bed is comfy as far as pull out beds are concerned and there is plenty of space when the bed is put away. The cookware wasn't in excellent condition but more than usable - utensils were good except the selection for glasses was lacking. New SmartTV was great along with windows that give good light and ventilation. The bathroom wasn't that clean in the cabinets; otherwise, very nice bathroom. |

Thank you Stephen for your comments about my apartment. I'm glad you found the location convenient, it is indeed ideal for exploring central Paris. I will be sure to check the kitchen supplies on my next trip to Paris. If you had mentioned the lack of glasses I would have gladly reimbursed you for new ones. I am also always amenable to supplying guests with anything they might need. Likewise, if you had mentioned that the bathroom was dirty I'm sure that the housekeeper, who comes every 2-3 weeks for no fee to guests, would have attended it. |
