This studio apartment is situated on Rue du Cygne between Rue Saint Denis and Rue Pierre Lescot in the heart of Châtelet, a bustling area of Paris’s 1st arrondissement. The fully furnished rental faces street-side (south) on the fifth of five floors (6th in American floors) of a building with no elevator secured by a security code at the front door.
Upon entering the living area, you will find beautiful hardwood floors and exposed wooden ceiling beams. Enjoy the flexibility of a full-size sofa bed, next to a small table for two set up near a large window that lets in daylight. A television complete with cable connection is available for your entertainment and ample storage space makes this rental especially convenient.
In the hallway, a small dining table is next to the separate kitchen with all the basic amenities, including a microwave/oven combo, a coffee maker, two electric plates, and a fridge. The bathroom is equipped with a sink, toilet, shower, tub and washer/dryer. Heat and hot water are electric and individual in this apartment.
Located in central Paris, this furnished studio apartment is quite close to renowned points of interest:
The rest of Paris is conveniently accessible by public transit on the Paris Métro, with the massive Châtelet – Les Halles station (metro lines 1, 4, 7, 11, 14; RER fast trains lines A, B, D) just .1mi/210m away and the smaller Étienne Marcel station even closer (line 4, 387 ft/120m).

I stayed in this lovely apartment for a year and I had an excellent time! The apartment is located in one of the most well-connected areas of the city; a simple walk from most monuments and next to the main metro lines and suburban trains. The street below the apartment consists of only clothing stores so despite being in the center of Paris, the apartment is very quiet. The windows are well insulated which add to this quietness. There are three windows in the apartment that allow for good airflow on a warm day. The apartment has a lovely wooden beam ceiling and a window view onto the Parisian rooftops which adds to the sensation of living in the middle of Paris. The amount of sunlight in the apartment is also very nice. When I arrived the first day, the apartment was extra clean and well maintained. The landlord welcomed me with a bottle of wine and throughout my year in this apartment, he remained very kind and responsive to any questions or inquiries I had about the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment for a single person (long stay) or a couple (short stay). |

I stayed in this apartment for a few months when I first moved to france, and it was very lovely. Raphael and Odette were amazing landlords.. they gave me wine and orange juice when I first moved in, and even bought me an orchid. The apartment was really cute and in a very nice area of Paris, with easy access to the Chatelet-les-Halles metro station. I wish I could've stayed there longer, however is was a little bit too small once my husband arrived. Raphael and Odette were very responsive and spoke English with us. I miss living here.. and I highly recommend this place! |

Absolutely great apartment...however, even better than the apartment was the owner, who was a pleasure to deal with and attended to any need I had. |

The owner is an extremely helpful person for anything you might need, easily available at all times and very kind. The apartment is in perfect condition, both comfortable and functional. |

This Paris furnished apartment and its owner far exceeded my expectations. I admit that I was quite nervous upon arriving to Paris and heading to an apartment site unseen aside from photos on a website. I arrived to find the most welcoming landlord. He was so sweet and even had fresh cut flowers from his garden and a bottle of wine waiting for me. He had a handout outlining the features of the neighborhood, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, everything I would need to get acquainted with my new home. |
